The harvest festival of Kerala, Onam celebrated in the months of August and September was perceived quite differently this year from the rest of the years. Kerala fell prey to the fury of nature, when the heavy rains crushed years of hardship and toil under its feet — Kerala faced one of the most terrorising floods of all times. 
‘Oruma’ is a stop motion animation film depicting the 2018 Kerala floods and how the residents of the state united and helped each other, forgetting all stereotypical boundaries that existed between them and upheld brotherhood.
